  • National Wildlife Federation study, January 6, 2004: Reasonable conservation measures in Region C could save enough water to delay by decades, if not eliminate altogether, the need for projects such as the Marvin Nichols dam and reservoir.
     
  • Dallas Water Utilities Draft Long Range Water Supply Plan for public comment period now. DWU is taking comments now (through date unknown) on this presentation from Public Meeting No. 1 given Dec. 13 by its consultant on draft population and water demand projections, list of potential water supply sources, and criteria and methodology for evaluating potential water supply sources. The comment deadline is EXTENDED beyond the Jan. 5 date in the presentation.
